  • Exclusive Position: Bao Au Mineral JSC is one of only three organizations approved by the Vietnamese Government to build an Antimony Processing and Smelting Plant in Vietnam. The plant, located in Binh An ward, Lam Binh district (Tuyen Quang), operates with a productivity of 800 tons of Antimony Ingots per year.
  • Abundant Raw Material Areas: The company takes advantages of existing Antimony deposits in Tuyen Quang province, such as Dam Hong deposit, Khuon Phuc deposit, Coc Tay deposit, Hoa Phu deposit, and Lang Can deposit.
  • Solid Expansion Strategy: To decisively ensure the supply of raw materials (antimony ore with a minimum Sb content of 15%), Bao Au not only exploits its own mines but also cooperates with other domestic units, while exploring opportunities to import raw antimony ore from mining enterprises in Central Asia, South America, and Southeast Asia.
Our production process
The core products under the “BAOAU” brand serve various key industries:
– Antimony 99.65% Sb: With an annual output of more than 800 tons, this product is widely used for manufacturing, steel plating, and fireproof materials
– Zinc Oxide (90% ZnO and 60% Zn): With an annual output of over 3,500 tons, it is an important material for ceramics, paint, rubber vulcanization, and zinc metal electrolysis industries
– Zinc Sulfate (monohydrate & heptahydrate): Producing more than 5,000 tons annually, it is widely used as poultry and livestock feed additives, as well as in mineral processing, printing and dyeing, and trace element fertilizers

Our mining is underground mining because it is the mining of antimony ore that is more than 180 meters below the ground surface.
The ore rocks that are dug up from the tunnel will be sent to the stock at the factory to be crushed into smaller sizes and sent to the ore storage tank

After that, it will be sent to the ball mill machine. The small ore will overflow to be sent to the mixing tank with chemicals to enter the process of mixing ore with chemicals the ore that has been mixed with chemicals will enter the flotation process and be sent to the sedimentation tank below

As for the tailings (mineral waste) will be sent to the tailings dam as for the ore concentrate, it will be sent to the reservoir to let the ore sediment.
After that, it will be sent to the filter to separate the ore from the water. After passing through the filter, the antimony ore will be powdered and packed in bags to enter the smelting process.
